Urban Future 2025

Magic happens when you least expect it.

That’s what I thought on the last day of Urban Future 2025, as I was leaving a morning workshop at a primary school in Łódź — where we presented the LEGO® Education solution — and heading to lead my own session, “Little Feet, Big City: How Children Navigate the Urban Jungle.”

In the school library, I had the chance to have a truly inspiring conversation with the librarian and to leave a copy of my book, which had just been launched during Urban Future 2025.

And that was only the beginning.

Before heading back home:

  • I led a workshop where we explored how the city looks through the eyes of children — and we wrapped it up with some well-deserved ice cream.
  • I also met Marcin Wojciech Żebrowski in person for the first time — not only a co-host of Urban Future, but also the creator of Urbcast, which became a media partner of my book.

Several copies of my book “The City Game: A Guide for Young Explorers” have found new homes. It was absolutely worth doing everything possible to have the printed copies ready for the premiere I had envisioned — at Urban Future in Łódź.
