Meeting with Tim Gill
On Sunday, I organised an informal meeting with Tim Gill for people interested in child-friendly cities. Tim is the author of Urban Playground and the writer of the foreword to my book The City Game.
We first met six years and two days ago at the Towards the Child Friendly City conference in Bristol. Tim was the keynote speaker there. He also led the session where I presented my research results. Since then, our paths have crossed many times across Europe. We met at events focused on child-friendly cities.
In the meantime, Tim’s book came out in Polish. Now he has come to Warsaw to speak at the conference.
I am truly happy to see how much has changed in Poland over these years. I feel proud to have contributed to this change. Thanks to everyone who came to meeting with Tim Gill!
