At the offices of Burrell Foley Fischer LLP

During my recent visit to London, I was invited by the architectural practice Burrell Foley Fischer LLP to speak about how children experience the city and what we can do to make them feel welcome in urban spaces.

The presentation explored the city from a child’s perspective, highlighting the everyday barriers children face as well as the opportunities to create environments that support their independence, wellbeing and sense of belonging. Together, we discussed practical ways architects, planners and decision-makers can better understand children’s needs and design places that work for all generations.
